A series of sculptures constructed from drawings cut in clear perspex and shopbought aerial antenna parts. They notate scrawled variations of sonic utterances or sung sounds that slip the grasp of language. It takes its title from the ubiquitous syllable in the “moveable-do” system as well as the archaic exclamation “la” which means “oh look!” There are six sculptures in the series which are meant to be installed in architectural nooks and crannies.
